Forest Sicklings

Here are the Forest Sickling I was working on this weekend..I still need to perfect this whole sculpey thing.. I'm super new to it, but in time I should.. They are already up in the shop, but won't be availble to later this week.. I'm definitely a fan of customizing smaller figures versus the bigger ones (I did an 8" dunny last week)...Be on the look out for a drop date on these coming soon. enjoy the pics!

Graduation Invitation

My friend's wife asked me to do a surprise graduation invitation for a picnic/party she is throwing for him and this is what I came up with. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, now to print them out and send her a jpeg.. I'll be bringing cupcakes to that picnic haha (anyone who knows me well, knows I take my cupcakes serious)

PS I've been doing good at posting here recently... I'm kinda stoked!

Gavin Strange's Droplets

So I picked up 3 droplets at a good price so I decided to go ahead and customize them.. I wanted to do forest sicklings, so I was looking to make twig like antlers.. I hit up a few craft stores and I could not find them no where so I decided to give super sculpey a shot.. It was weird at first but I got the hang of it after awhile, mold them then baked them.. now so sand them a bit and paint.. wish me luck.. hope these come out well

Philly Trip

So I figured I switch up the blog a bit so it doesn't get stale or just strictly art..so with that being said here I go.. So on my weekend trip to philly a bunch of us got to play Street Fighter IV, needless to say the game was awesome. On our way up we spotted this pimped out honda civic with yes... Street Fighter art on both sides, Guile and chun-li..

the orbs may be evolving

Here are a few sketches of evolved orbs...I'm still keeping the non evolved ones as well. bad pics I know but you get the feel. As cute as they may seem these orbs don't mess around, the jars they carry aren't for fireflys or bugs, they are for collecting remains of innocent bystanders after they are clobbered over their heads..hehehe
