Matt Fletcher's Got Wood show @ David Apuzzo Gallery

New Digital Print

So I really liked this old painting of mine but felt it was a little outdated? since my style has been evolving since when I first painted it back a couple years ago. So I decided to release it as a print but going digital with it. I definitely want to add some distress treatment to it and a few other things I have in mind.. so far I spent 9 hours straight on it, Hopefully I can get this done by next week.

The Jekyll & Hyde Syndrome

So I just finished up my postcard design for my upcoming solo show next month December 11th...From past experiences I noticed that bigger pieces don't sell well in CT (well for low brow art it seems) so I went with smaller more affordable pieces (prices ranging from $35-$250 being the most expensive)... I'll post more info over at my website later tonight.. going back to the design, I went for more of that old vintage movie poster look and I'm quite happy on how it came out...I have to admit I do miss from time to time getting all grungy with photoshop so this was refreshing and fun to do.. Hope you guys like this as much as I do. A special thanks to Matt Sharp holla!

Worn out.. but still painting!

Some more new stuff I have been messing with... some stenciling.. still need to lighten them up a bit.. the plain solid was kinda messing with me so I decided to add some flourish stencils I found.. I like the way its coming out for sure.. and I'm currently having some custom made stencils as I type to add more elements to my background.. on a "downer" note I'll be taking a week off from painting just to take a breather.. I've been painting literally non stop and working a full time job as well, I feel its taking a toll on me physically and mentally.. just gonna chill and watch movies haha.. then thanksgiving week, just hit it hard again.. enjoy the pics!
